11 am Lesley and Roy Adkins: All At Sea in the Time of Jane Austen. Roy and Lesley Adkins are well-known writers and archaeologists with many books to their credit.

12 noon Lettice Buxton: Who Persuades Who in Persuasion.  Lettice is one of our members and always delivers a talk both erudite and entertaining.

Lunch by own arrangement

230 pm The Patricia Clarke Memorial Lecture – Professor Joseph Crawford, Exeter University – ‘He has not been able to get The Romance of the Forest yet’: Jane Austen, Lord Byron and the legacies of Regency romance.

Followed by tea, coffee and cakes

Talks £10 each for members and £12 for non members, to include refreshments.  All welcome!
