11 am The first talk is Jane Darcy: ‘Green glass spectacles and gooseberry wine: What Oliver Goldsmith’s The Vicar of Wakefield taught Jane Austen about comic writing’

2 pm Second talk – Janine Barchas (University of Texas, Austin): ‘Aspirational Luxury and Rental Options in Jane Austen’s Era’
The events ends around 330 pm
