Prof Jennie Batchelor: Jane Austen, her Writing and her Craft
Professor Jennie Batchelor is Head and Professor of English at the Department of English and Related Literature at the University of York. She previously worked at the University of Kent. Her interests lie in eighteenth century and Romantic studies. She has latterly become involved in practice-based research on craft reconstruction, co-creating, with Alison Larkin, the popular history-craft book, Jane Austen Embroidery (Pavilion and Dover, 2020).
The Society’s online lectures are open to branch members for a payment of £3.00.
