The Owners of Jane Austen, an illustrated talk by our president, Hazel Mills, about some of the people who had owned Jane Austen’s novels in the one hundred years between 1833 and 1933. Hazel has researched some of the inscriptions in books in her collection revealing some fascinating lives and follows their publishing history since the new Bentley editions were published in 1833. The meeting will be in person and on Zoom.
