A talk about Charles Austen by his great-great-great-grandson, David Willan (who is a Member of JASK) on Saturday 7 February at 5pm.

Charles was Jane’s youngest brother. David will be discussing Charles’s personality, his two wives, his career as a senior officer in the Royal Navy as well as the wider Austen family. David will also be relating details of a poignant visit that he made to Sri Lanka last year to visit Charles’s grave.
